Umukarikari

Umukarikari is the highest point of the Umukarikari Range, which is located in the Kaimanawa Forest Park. By continuing on and overnighting at Waipakihi Hut, Unmukarikari can be bagged on a two day loop which also takes in the summit of Urchin. Like Urchin however, Umukarikari can be bagged on a return day tramp.

For more information on the full loop tramp, see North Island Weekend Tramps, Shaun Barnett, Craig Potton Publishing (2002) pages 77-79.
