Getting There:
A yellow sign post opposite the carpark (other side of road) marks the entrance to the track off SHW 25a.  The carpark is 14km from the Paeroa Kopu turn off & 14Km from the Wangamata turn off, there is a rest area about 500m before the sign from the East which maybe to a waterfall that can be seen RHS as you go up.
The TracK:
A Doc sign at entrance states its 3Hr to summit, it took me 1Hr:37 & the same down i.e 3Hr:17 return.  There is a detour of 30min return to the Devich Kauri thats massive which was worth it for me as I respect these old survivers.  The track is very over grown and as such is not advisable to do at night (no reflector markers) I found it easy to go up but slippery coming down.  Veiws are good at the top but it was overcast for me.  A chain near the top provides the clue you only have a short way before summit.  Looks like a geo cache at summit too.
