Car park just past Seales Rd from Pyes Pa if using a car GPS. A pretty and delightful walk, great for young kids, had been raining all night but the track was dry with leaves underfoot. There has been car break in problems so locals do a voluntary car watch but still take caution. 23min brisk walk up taking the ridge track to trig RHS at the loop intersection and 18min jog down via 40m high Kahikatea tree return loop track. Awesome views from the platform and some grand old trees to admire both up and down.
