Been there 4 times now.
Possible the least like a 'Peak', no views from there, it feels like a bit of a rise from the surrounding bush.
It is however heartland waitakeres, you need to do a decent walk to get there.

winter brings half the "attraction" with this climb. tracks turn to streams, climbs turn to waterfalls and the cold, mud, the damp and the misery of it all is good for the soul
