Pureroa - much improved track

Bagged this one a few days ago, a straightforward stroll up, and fantastic 360 degree views from the top, although some hazy cloud meant I didn't get a view of Ruapehu or Taranaki. Took 2 hours including a break for lunch and photos at the summit.
There has been a LOT of work on this track in the last year, the trail is now formed all the way to the summit with a light surfacing of gravel, new drainage ditches/culverts and has had steps installed on all but the most moderate slopes. Despite the wild weather that had swept up the country on the previous few days, my boots hardly got dirty. For this reason this peak should be reclassified as easy instead of easy/medium.
