We went in via Mangaone Sth, up and over to the Otaki Forks, down the river, then all the way up to Kapakapanui, and back down via a Possum Hunters track to the carpark at Mangaone. 43km loop in 10 hours 43 minutes or so!

Beautiful day for a climb today, and no wind at the top! There were a big group of 4WDs that went up as we were coming down. We went up from the end of Parkes Line Road.

The Wellington Meetup group were doing a run from KauKau to Red Rocks, so we bagged this one early. Was a very windy day, and we had cows on the track! Got as far a Zealandia, then bailed.
