Suggest clockwise route - anti-clockwise is a slog! ;D
Also, recommend some jandals for the river crossings at the start. I had to cross it about 6 times in the first 20 minutes.

If you're planning on a swim at Khandallah pool after your walk be advised there is now a $2 charge for adults and $1 for kids. Still well worth it!!
