Nice afternoon walk, good views, took 35-40 mins to the top at a brisk pace. Views from the top were definitely worth it as were the views of the crater lake.

A quick jaunt up mt ngongataha today via the jubilee track. Bit muddy at the moment but not tough. Underwhelmed with the view of the summit!

The weatherman promised a mixture of sun and cloud. By the time I arrived the clouds were closing in and half way up the drizzle started. An interesting walk up, enjoyed the clambering up the chains, muddy at times. Reached the summit in about 1h45 to be greeted by cloud, no view of raglan whatsoever. As I headed down, the cloud broke somewhat to give glimpses of the coastline and by the time I reached the bottom the blue skies were out.
A good first peak bagging, even if no views are seen.
5 months to get as many others in as possible!
